Transducin-like enhancer protein 1 (TLE1) is a protein encoded by the gene TLE1, and is involved in control of hematopoiesis, neuronal, and terminal epithelial differentiation. Positive immunohistochemical nuclear staining with anti-TLE1 has been shown to be useful for identifying synovial sarcoma.1-2 TLE1 expression may also be observed in other soft tissue neoplasms, usually in low levels.2-3
